It doesn't look like Emmy Mom is doing her annual blog review, but I really enjoy looking back on my year and remembering all that happened. For the four Mondays in December, I will be recounting Denton Sanatorium's highlights of the year.
January
I opened 2015 with my annual word-of-the-year reveal--heart.
I recapped a few of our favorite holiday adventures, ending with our hopefully new tradition--New Year's Eve Lip Sync contest.
AZ kids play in leaves in January, not in September.
AZ kids also cheer at basketball games in January.
I had forgotten I got flowers from Hawaii.
I experienced one of those "examine your own mortality" moments.
And I found the perfect use for my ever faithful diaper bag--
--keeper of my kids' blessing gowns.
February
Eve learned to ride a two wheeler.
I unexpectedly ran into one of my master's degree professors at an AAGT conference--and had one of those fly-on-the-wall experiences we all dream of.
Kids participated in the science fair at school.
The cabin, our big project of the year, was almost done in February.
Eve got her first set of stitches.
The kids shaved off Brad's beard for Family Home Evening.
And I struggled to know what to do with myself.
March
I spent February shooting Spring, and I posted my best shots in March.
I had my first ever trip to IKEA where I came home empty-handed. Yeah. That one still makes me mad.
I wrote about my two littlepuppies boys.
Hyrum got baptized. It was a great day.
All of these events seem so long ago. Where did 2015 go?
