Park by the Sea

Our quick trip to the beach included one beautifully perfect evening at a park just around the corner.

 If I could have anyone's hair, it would be Abby's--lucky, isn't she?

This spinny thingy was the coolest ever--like a giant merry-go-round but tilted and harder to hold on to.

 Evie and "AKay" on the the teeter totter. 

 I thought the center of the teeter totter would be a great place to practice tree pose.  I was okay at it . . .

 . . . but Lily and Abby were much better . . . 

 . . . and took it even further than I ever could dream.

 Everyone climbed around on the ropes, but Lily was the bravest of everyone.

I didn't think it could be that hard, but I got about halfway up and decided that this sort of adventure should be reserved for the young.
