Ben injured his wrist a few weeks ago and took some time off from rugby to let it mend. There was a scheduling conflict with the MRI, and the test was delayed a few weeks, but I couldn't keep him off the field, even though we still haven't determined the injury (x-ray was negative).
Ben has recently been training as kicker.
It's much easier to get a picture of my son the kicker than of my son at the bottom of a pile of arms and legs.
Although I am still quite unfamiliar with the rules, I absolutely love watching Ben play rugby.
There's just something about this sport that is different and engaging, even to the uninitiated.
Today marks the beginning of the final nine weeks of Ben's senior year.
I don't like to think about what that means.
For now, I'm just enjoying every moment I can with my boy.
Is the wrist getting better?
