Foto Friday--Cross Country

Cross country season for junior high is very short--just five meets.

Yes, those are saguaro cacti. Yes, they surround the track. Yes, they also grow in people's yards. Yes, this really is February weather in AZ.

 Lily hurt her hip the night before at tumbling, and I didn't think she should have run the race. Adrenaline wears off after races, and sure enough, when she was done, she was limping everywhere.  I hope she heals quickly.

 All run at the base of these gorgeous mountains.

I love Arizona in February.  I know most of you are freezing or frozen or just plain cold.  Hate to say that it's supposed to be 85 this weekend.  Make a snowman for me!
