2011 Review Extravaganza, Part Four

Linking up late this week.  Whew.  Is it 2012 yet?  I'm ready.

October
My mantel was featured on My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia--that was an ego boost!

From readers' questions, I compiled a week's worth of posts on what it means to me to be a Mormon:
Why I Believe
Missions and the Plan of Salvation
The Son of God, Birth and Conception of Jesus, and the Trinity
The Bible and Other Sacred Texts

and I Always Want to Be With My Own Family
That week in October was my hardest blogging ever--most thought-provoking and soul-searching.  And the most rewarding I've had in three years of blogging.

I revealed my favorite find/transformation of the year--Grandma couch.
Miss Evie turned two

And I discovered Baltimore and Lucketts.  That was my favorite trip of the year.

November

I revisited the Sugar Monkey (update on this in January)
I reposted my all-time favorite post for my three-year blogiversary, and then confessed to joining Facebook (although I have never ventured back) so I could start pinterest.
I managed to slow down and enjoy a quiet moment with Evie (one of my top five posts of the year), almost combusted in the MRI tube, and comforted Micah from a horrible dream.

In case you don't remember, Ben's football team won the state championships.

And Karen and I ventured out for our first all-night Black Friday adventure.

December

The posts were sparse but the life was full--Christmas tradition that spans generations.
And a brief rant on parents that are reliving elementary school through their kids' projects.
I had one of those frustrating holiday preparation days--if you haven't seen Tucker's video, click the link in the post.  It's worth it.
And I learned a lesson about forgiveness and charity from three dogs and my neighbors.

The last few weeks have been busy with family and traditions and fun.

Thanks again, ladies, for providing this time to revisit my year.  It makes me see that I really did learn a few things this year, even if I feel mostly the same.
