Foto Friday--A Quarter and a Funny

Six months ago today . . .
. . . I said goodbye to my Tucker.  One quarter of his mission is complete--185 days.

It seems so long ago that I felt that hug.

And yet in some ways, the time has just flown by.

Sigh.

And on a completely unrelated and cheerful note: a Hyrum holiday funny for the weekend

"Mom, if you want to eat a turkey, first you have to pull off all the feathers, then you have to poke out its eyes."

Yes, Hyrum. No eyeballs on my Thanksgiving table.

Hope you get all your holiday preparations in order this weekend.  I'm not even thinking about it until the football game is over tonight.

    I'm sure that the six months have flown in some respects and dragged in others. I remember that image and all that it conveyed/s.

    Hyrum's comment reminds me so much of Bryce. On Tuesday (for the happiness project) I'm going to post one of his that really cracked me up.

    I have pictures very similar to yours with my boys, both coming and going.

    The ones coming were sweetest, of course, and in those I am laughing and crying at the same time. Such joy!
