This is how I spent my week:
Lucky me, huh? I bathed and fed and held.
Rocked and sang and squeezed.
Sandwiched and ogled and admired.
And enjoyed every single second. If I had chocolate syrup, I'd pour it on her and eat her for dessert. Can't believe they're leaving on Sunday. It's been a joy.
She is, indeed. Every household should get a visit from such a one!
ReplyDeleteOh, you've still got two whole days left!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, she is Truly Scrumptious!
(you may imagine me singing the song to you now...)
;)
That middle one of the two of you is so adorable, peas in a pod :) What a wonderful week, lucky you!
ReplyDeleteShe is delicious, even without the Hershey's syrup
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIs it weird to have one of your own so young and then have a granddaughter too? I bet they will be close growing up!!
Have a fun visit - You've got two more days - Hooray!
She looks so Denton-y! That IS a good thing :) Enjoy the lovin and squeezin!
ReplyDeleteThere was a question from Heidi on my latest post, and this is the only way I know answer her. Chickens aren't hard to keep at all and they are very worthwhile - the eggs are the best. Two or three hens will keep you and your friends in eggs (who wouldn't rather a carton of fresh eggs to any other hostess gift!?) There are lots of how-to books, but really , chicken keeping is too, too easy.
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun to smooch on them, but very hard to stop.
ReplyDeleteshe's beautiful! ...looks like one of your precious boys!
ReplyDeleteit makes me almost wish for another...almost. (grins)
What a doll! I miss having a baby around sometimes.....then I come to my senses.
ReplyDeleteAs for the size medium shirt...I'm on it. Email me with your address...I'm serious.
@Pondside - I think you have the wrong Heidi - I can't remember asking anything about chickens. If I ever do decide you get chickens, though, I now know who to ask!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little grandbaby! Just beautiful!
ReplyDelete"Don't eat the baby!" :)
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable! And while she does look like a Denton baby, she's definitely got some of Sam in her too, especially in that first picture.
Oh, and thanks for the cookies! Markie and Maddy enjoyed them as well. :)
Looks like her grandma : ) and her aunties. A beauty.
ReplyDeleteDana
She is simply delicious! Ellie definitely has the Denton face. It's the eyes. Not as mesmerizing as Evie's but they are still very captivating and full of wonder :)
ReplyDeletethat last picture makes me want another baby NOW!!!!!:)
