You know what this means, don't you?
Wait for it, wait for it . . .
It's spring!
You deserve it.
Now for a little mind candy:
If you had 24 hours all to yourself, what would you do? Would you go away or stay home? What if it were 48 hours, then what? And if it were a whole three-day weekend? Dream big, people! I want to hear. Linky party on Monday.
Take the weekend and dream . . . I will be.
I'm feeling as stretched as I can be these days. If I had 24 hours I'd probably close the gate, turn off the phone and stay home. I'll have to think about the other options!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, by the way!
So fitting that you would blog about a "dream"...since you were in my dream last night. ha! So funny that someone youve never met can be in your dream. I wonder if you voice sounds like the voice in my dream. Hmm...
ReplyDeleteI did talk about it in my blog post today, if you'd like to read vaguely of how your husband is a hero. ha! I woke up scared, confused, and kind of laughing at it's randomness.
I'm soooo ready for warm weather. Not quite ready for hot. Just nice and warm.
ReplyDeleteIf I had 24 hours I would start the day with a little run (assuming it was nice weather), then I'd get ready and eat breakfast in front of the TV. Then I would sew a little, read a little, and take a nap. And then I would knit or crochet while I watched a Jane Austen-type movie. By then I think I would be lonely and ready for my husband to come home. (But the kids can stay overnight somewhere.) :)
ReplyDeleteOh that's easy! I've day dreamed about this dream for 12 years :))Now if I can just remember to link up on Monday!
ReplyDeletewe are so ready for spring here too.
ReplyDeletei think I did see a few buds on our trees though, but no flowers quite yet!!:)
where would I go??????
Have a happy night
I love those tree blossoms- yay for spring!
ReplyDeleteyou already know my answer to that question....sleep...better to answer this in a year or so! ha ha..i'll link up next year!
ReplyDeleteok, is there a budget???!!!
ReplyDeleteWith Dave working as much as he does between job and church, I have MOST of my time to myself, so this question doesn't even apply. I am pretty free these days to do whatever suits my fancy.
ReplyDeleteBut back in the day when I had kids at home, I probably would have gone to visit my sister and just talked and talked. (Which is exactly what I did a couple of weeks ago...)
;)
Oh that would be a dream! A wonderful glorious dream. I think I would find a good book to read, watch a chick flick. Get caught up on photo editing and just enjoy the quiet.
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm so far from popcorn popping on the apricot tree.....sigh.
ReplyDeleteIf I had 24 hours to myself????
I'm thinking spa....and lots of it.
Thanks for the spring. :) I've missed your blog in my hiatus. I'm about to go backwards through your time.
ReplyDeleteAhh! I love spring! Can't wait. Things are starting to bud here too, but we've got quite a bit of rain. This too shall pass, right?
