I know you've been waiting by your computers all day, wondering when this post would come. It's okay. Admit it.
Random generator is a funny thing, isn't it?
Winners are:
Peach syrup: Jessica B at Jessee's Spot
Cookies: Grandma Honey
Cookies: Kyra
Cookies from aeons ago that I owe to my loving friends, Sue at Sue's News and Superpaige. Thanks for being patient.
The Swan Thieves, by Elizabeth Kostova: Sloan at Lucky as a Ladybug. I know it's a small consolation till your boots come.
And the hand-picked holiday surprise: Gabe at In the Details.
Lunch with my bestie Karen--when can we arrange it?
A visit home to see my mom and sisters--I'll see what I can do.
And huge hugs to Pondside and Jo in Canada and Catherine in NZ--wish I could send something tangible.
Email me your addresses, and I will send this stuff out on Monday. I'm going to wait till then so that the cookies have the best possible chance at survival. I loved Kyra's comment that she talks about me to her preschool class. Kyra, let me know how many are in your class, and I'll see what I can do in the cookie department!
It was also brought to my attention that I owe peach syrup to Allyson VP at the MVP's of Mesa Town. Frankly, I don't remember flaking out on her, too, but she does live around the corner, so I'll bring some peachy goodness with me to Ben's voice lesson today.
And . . . about your comments. Thank you so much. You gave me some great ideas for future posts. And for those of you that like linky posts, I have a new one percolating. Maybe Monday . . .
Thanks for making it a great two years.
brought to you by Alphabe-Thursday and Ms. Jenny Matlock
Ahh- Lucky (said in the best Napoleon Dynamite voice you can conjure). Thanks for the reminder that I need to have Schroeder pick a winner from a bowl full of names.
ReplyDeleteA visit home????
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was quite a giveaway. La
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Napoleon voice from Jess.."shocks, pegs, LUCKY!"...anyway, congrats winners. That Jenny sure is generous!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jen on the two years of sharing wonderful memories with all of us. It's your sincerity that brings us back every week.
ReplyDeleteI hope those who won peaches realize they are receiving gifts of gold... pure gold.

One of these days... I. will. win!
lucky winners!
ReplyDeleteI won cookies from this GREAT blog?! Little ol' me? I am way excited!
ReplyDeletePS And yes, I was one of those checking several times today. Hurray!!!
Well I missed out on your give away but it sounds like a lot of blessing coming from your hands. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI am really excited to get my hands on those cookies. My mouth has been watering for them since before Evie was born!
ReplyDeleteheehee
;)
So sad I missed the giveaway. Well, I already won once, so I guess it's okay.... Just wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed your blog over this past year! I took to heart your organization plan and set one into motion myself. Been exercising every day and reminding myself that the endorphins would make it worth the time I took. Your voice (I guess not technically cuz I don't know how it sounds) has been in my head all week! I've been eating better and actually scheduling times to eat, since I was forgetting to eat and then purging with junk food. So I've been thinking about you a lot this week. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on two years! LOoks like some people are getting some ummy prizes!
ReplyDeleteUmmm two things.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't necesarily flake out on me with the syrup or jam. It was more like, I never came by to get it, and when I finally did, you were out of town. It was summer, it was crazy.
Secondly...today you DID flake out and didn't bring it with you to Bens lesson. So guess we're even. hahahaa
Oh, and one more thing. This is only the 2nd giveaway where I have NOT won something. I'm pained. How could this be? hahahahaha
I s'pose my greatest consolation should be that I get to be your REAL real life friend and hang out with you when time permits. Oh, AND that I've totally eaten your delish cookies on many an occassion. Yeah, that's good enough for me.
Hi Jen, I am now following you from alphabet thursday. What lovely giveaways you had, so sorry I missed them! All the best,alex@amoderatelife
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThat peach syrup sounds quite yummy!
I checked over your post several times...and didn't see my name? What the heck! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind comments yesterday...they put a smile on my face!
I didn't enter your giveaway, just seemed odd. But I do want you to know how much I love your blog & the way it makes me think. Congratulations on two fabulous years, can you believe how much has changed in 24 months?
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, thanks for coming by my blog and your sweet comment! I am so glad you are going to make the chicken salad. It's so easy and so delicious. Let me know if you like it! I say this a lot, but I'm so amazed by moms of large families. How do you do it all?! You have a gorgeous family!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a lot of prizes you've awarded. You'll be busy!
ReplyDeleteHugs are always welcome!!
ReplyDeleteYay for giveaways! Happy blogiversary again!
ReplyDeleteOK, seriously?!?! lucky lucky lucky me ... lucky as a ladybug, in fact - thank you, Jen!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats again on you blogiversary! I just got back from Mesa tonight - whirlwind trip to see the kids. I should've come by to see if you had any extra peachy syrup...
