We only got Tucker from Saturday morning until Sunday night (he almost missed that plane, or it would have been longer!), but Heidi and Sam are staying for over a week.
We saved our family bowling trip until everyone was home, and it was such a blast!
We did cause a little commotion with all ten of us--there are TEN of us! Micah walked out on the waxed lane and did the splits; Lily burst into song a few times; Tucker, Evie, and I started dancing spontaneously; Dad and Sam had a little friendly competition (Brad won, he would want me to note); and an employee had to chide us when Lily and Tucker threw balls down the same alley at the same time.
Luckily, we went before lunch, so we had the place virtually to ourselves until we were almost through. Hyrum stripped off his awesome bowling shoes and socks, put on his flip flops and declared the game over in the sixth frame.
This was our practice shot before Dad got the camera set. LOVE IT!
Two great memories.
And, according to random.org, the winner of my giveaway is #51--
Cindy from Loving Life's Little Things.

Congrats, and Happy My Birthday to YOU! I saw a fantastic wreath when I was there this week. Let me know your address and what you end up giving yourself!
Congrats to Cindy!
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE the photo...and the family bowling...and the fact that you all get to be together.
(My family will be together, too, starting a week from tonight. Yep, even Todd!)

Thanks so much Jen and hope you have a wonderful birthday!!
Love the bowling pictures...we have not been bowling in awhile. We always have so much fun when we go!
Enjoy the day
Those family portraits are great - and they'll laugh for years and years at them. I can't wait until the little grandsons are old enough for bowling!
ReplyDeleteIn all my excitement, I forgot to get you my address.:) Drop me an email and I will get that to you.

Bowling! So fun. Happy Birthday, girl.
ReplyDeleteOkay, could you look cuter sitting there with your red hat with Tuck sitting on the floor?! NO! The answer is a big, fat No!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the practice shot, and I agree with Allyson that Tucker's squished face is a little freaky. =)
Happy Birthday to you (and Cindy).
look at your baby standing up already!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun and so nice to have the place pretty much to yourselves. . .it makes it much smoother when its like that!
What a bunch of fun pictures and so many good memories! I'm sad I didn't win, but you can't win them all (and I just won Sue's giveaway!) Have a very wonderful birthday weekend!
ReplyDeletehee hee hee!

Almost missed, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!! I hope your day was an extra wonderful one. The bowling pictures are so cute... and you got to be IN them, hooray!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Cindy! Happy Birthday Jen! I hope you had a great Birthday! Love the pictures, you have such a beautiful family, even in a goofy face picture! PS Where have you been? You're always my first commenter and I've missed your comments!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had the perfect birthday weekend! It must've been so great to have the ENTIRE family home again.
ReplyDeleteI love that photo. Sometimes the practice is way better than the real thing. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of the kids laying in front of the lanes- chins propped on their ball!
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at any family that will get together for a family photo. I love them. I can't get Jim to stand for a family photo but my friend can if it's something Mike has done. Like graduation or his Eagle Court of Honor. So at least twice we've done it, in like 18 years.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, keep sharing and I'll keep reading.
Take care and have a great day. God Bless!!
