Lapse

Forgive me, followers.
For I have sinned.
I thought I was past the temptation.
I was wrong.
Yesterday
I licked the brownie spatula.
Not just one lick.
The whole thing.
Forgive me.
Epiphany #38--Confession is good for the soul.
Ah. I feel so much better.

    The tragedy is, we are NEVER past temptation, no matter how long we've gone without something. So, good for you for only licking the spatula and not eating the whole bowl. 'Cause you know, I might have. I'm just saying.
