This post is sadly overdue.
Thursday last week I asked Heidi to come home for lunch, because I needed her help. I lured her home under the guise of me messing up her English 101 assignment on the computer.
No surprise to her mother, but obviously to her, Heidi has been admitted to BYU-Idaho!
We won't know which track is hers for a few weeks, but now is the time to buy coats, boots, gloves, and sweaters; sheets, towels, pots and pans; computers, printers, cartridges and paper.
It's also time to get out the scissors to cut the apron strings.
Epiphany #17--Seeing your child live one of their dreams fills a mom with inexpressible joy and unanticipated sadness.
So Cool!!! Congratulations, hope she ends up with the tracks she wants. Is she hoping for winter or hoping to NOT get winter?
ReplyDeleteOh, how can you do it? Cut those apron strings, I mean?
ReplyDeleteOh, and by the way, that means you're old. I'm just sayin.
