What do I love? Rain!
From when I was a little girl, I remember my dad taking me out to the barn or the camper, just to sit and listen to it rain. The more thunder the better. Thunder has never scared me (or any of my kids, for that matter), because my dad always taught me that it was something to be enjoyed rather than feared.
What do I love? Christmas lights!
I have them on both trees, on bookcases and banisters, on mantel and piano. Lights are probably my favorite part of Christmas.
What do I love? My sister!
My sister Karen is amazing. She has strengths in almost every area where I have weaknesses, and she loves me anyway. She lets me vent, and I let her vent. I'm so lucky to have her.
What do I love? Today!
A day like today, where I can sit out on my back patio, listen to the rain, talk to my sister on the phone (uninterrupted) for an hour, and use my Christmas lights DURING THE DAY!
May life bring you this much joy!
What a great post. I too love the rain, but ONLY when I don't have to go out in it at all. Taking three kids, in the car, to the store, in the rain, NOT SO MUCH! You do have a lovely patio to sit on and enjoy said rain. Ok, we totally have to come over so I can see your Christmas lights and decore. Please be safe on your trip to UT. We'll be calling on Sunday to make sure you're all home in one piece.
